Ritika Jain graduated in Applied Art from College of Art, Delhi but always thought that the Sculpture department was the coolest. After many jobs as a graphic designer and decades of sitting in front of a screen, she decided to go offline and start creating in 3D instead of 2D.

For someone who gets tired of things easily, she finally found the right medium. There's so much to explore in ceramics that a lifetime isn't enough. Also, it's anything but a solitary profession.

I started my journey with throwing but have also started sculpting. Working with clay takes me inwards to a tranquil space where time slows down and everyday problems shrink. To be creative is the most meditative experience, I feel. Clay teaches you patience and humility in a truly spiritual sense."
