This sculptural vase features a striking, organic form reminiscent of a crescent or boat. Its surface is richly detailed with natural cracks and earthy tones of deep brown, overlaid with washes of blue and hints of green patina, evoking a weathered, ancient artifact. The exterior has a raw, geological surface while the interior is glazed to hold water for minimalist ikebana arrangements when required. This piece can be used as a sculptural decor accent or for the aforementioned ikebana.
Each piece is individually handcrafted, and subtle variations in form, texture, colour, and finish are to be expected. These unique nuances are a testament to the artist's process, ensuring that your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
