Flowing Continuum
This piece is born out of my exploration of Nerikomi, where layers of contrasting clays are intertwined to create patterns reminiscent of earth’s own geology. The marbled surface echoes the natural strata of landscapes- bands of color embedded in rock, sand, and soil- marking time, memory, and transformation.
The form itself flows in a continuous curve, a gesture that feels at once organic and creates an infinite loop, inviting the viewers to trace its movement and lose themselves within its rhythm.
For Enchanted Spaces, this work becomes a contemplative anchor: a sculpture that transforms the familiar material of clay into something magical. It is earth in motion, time in stillness, and imagination woven into form.
Each piece is individually handcrafted, and subtle variations in form, texture, colour, and finish are to be expected. These unique nuances are a testament to the artist's process, ensuring that your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
