Clay Fest Edition

Shambhala Art

artist work

This collection brings together selected ceramic artworks from Clay Fest, Shambhala Art’s offline exhibition series presented at Museo Camera Gurgaon and The Government Art Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh. Conceived as a meeting ground for contemporary ceramic voices, Clay Fest celebrates clay as both material and metaphor.

The works shown here were created under the curatorial themes Down the Rabbit Hole and The Enchanted Spaces. Together, these themes invite viewers to move beyond the obvious - into imagined worlds, inner landscapes, and altered states of perception. Forms shift between the familiar and the fantastical, while surfaces carry traces of touch, time, and transformation through fire.

Each piece reflects an individual artistic language, yet remains rooted in a shared exploration of process, intuition, and material honesty. Seen collectively, the works form a quiet dialogue—between artists, spaces, and the viewer - revealing clay’s ability to hold stories, emotions, and moments of wonder.
