From 2 decades of running in the corporate race with a couple of interludes for forays into glass painting and candle making, turning the wheel has been a real soul finding journey for Aparna. Little had she thought when she hung up her career boots that she will will find so much solace and peace in the cold churn of the moulding clay. With every spin of the wheel, there are myriads of lessons to be learnt.

"You will find me my chirpiest best with a steaming cup of coffee or glass of my favourite wine with the smell of a waxing candle. Throwing on the wheel is meditation for me. Still very young in my journey, with hunger for learning and experimenting with everything that I’m curious about is where I am at right now. Taking one step at a time and enjoying this endless journey of infinite learning every single day. I mostly  throw on the wheel but like to alter and mould the shape into its final organic form these days …You play with movement until you find expression for that original stimulus. I draw inspiration from minimalism and characterful colour & forms.
